Pastor's Welcome:
Thank you for stopping by on the web and checking out our site. I count it as a privilege to be the pastor at Arise Baptist Church. Our church is made up of normal people that desire to please God and share the good news of Jesus Christ with the world. We have multiple activities (Couple's Banquet, Mother/ Daughter Banquet, teen camp, church picnics, men's and ladies' outings, etc.) and special meetings (Missions Conference, Revival Services, etc.) throughout the year. We have Sunday School for all ages (to include a teen group) and a Wednesday night Bible study. My personal goal as a pastor is for people to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, then that they would grow spiritually and follow God's plan for their lives. I do my best to make the teaching and the preaching both challenging and practical. All preaching and teaching is based on God's word (AV 1611), not the world's positions or philosophies. If you're looking for a place to learn the word of God, be part of a Christian family, grow spiritually and/ or for opportunities to serve the Lord, then we might be the church for you. About Our Pastor:

Mike Doney was raised in rural Ohio and joined the Army immediately following his graduation from high school. He received Jesus Christ as his Saviour in 1998, while stationed in Baumholder, Germany. His wife, Imelda, was also saved during that time. Shortly after salvation, brother Mike was called to preach. He received a Bachelors of Biblical Studies Degree from Patriot Bible University in 2012, and retired from the U.S. Army in 2014. He has had many opportunities to serve the Lord in various ministries, to include as a missionary. Brother Mike began pastoring Arise Baptist Church in August, 2021. Brother Mike and Imelda were married in October of 1996, and have five children: Christopher, Christian, Stephen, Isabella and Joshua.
